The objective of this paper is to investigate the dynamic behaviour post-tensioned concrete flat slabs with different geometries and damping ratios. Four groups models lengths, widths, thicknesses ratios designed according AS3600 standard. These were used determine influence each parameter on vibration serviceability by comparing control variable method reference model. assessment parameters as natural frequency, peak acceleration, response factor. Both SCI/CSTR43 standard theoretical calculations Strand7 finite element analysis (FEA) are effect vibration. feasibility FEA for also assessed calculating errors two methods. concludes that highly accurate feasible. span in both directions has a large increasing slab thickness ratio effective methods improve serviceability.
